Things Missionaries won’t tell you (part one):

[This is part of a series that informs supporters about some things that missionaries won’t tell them.]

It is estimated that most missionaries, once fully funded and ministering, devote 10-20% of their work time in continued support raising efforts to remain fully funded.  If a missionary works 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, that means that the missionary has to spend 1 in 5 workdays per week on raising funds.

This is one reason many missionaries are chronically underfunded (and discouraged).

Could you imagine if you had to spend 1 in 5 work days raising funds to pay for your other 4 days of work per week?!

Is that how you want the missionaries you support spending their time?

<<Have you considered giving the gift of being fully funded to a missionary you love?>>
